In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void,
and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good;
and God separated the light from the darkness. – Genesis 1:1-4

En el principio Dios creó los cielos y la tierra. La tierra estaba sin orden y vacía,
y las tinieblas cubrían la superficie del abismo, y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la superficie de las aguas. Entonces dijo Dios: «Sea la luz». Y hubo luz. Dios vio que la luz era buena;
y Dios separó la luz de las tinieblas. – Génesis 1:1-4
