Now [Today] is the Day of Salvation

2 Corinthians / 2 Corintios 6:1-2

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—for He says, “at the acceptable time i listened to you,  and on the day of salvation i helped you.” Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation.” – 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

– 2 Corintios 6:1-2

Yes, we are on the very brink of eternity (Acts 17:31). It could happen this very day (Matt. 24:42; 25:13; Mark 13:35). You cannot prepare to meet God after you die – for your spiritual state is sealed at death (Heb. 9:27). You must prepare right here, right now, in this life. I cannot help you once the “seventh angel” (Rev. 10:7; 11:15; 22:20) sounds the “trumpet of God” (“the last trumpet,” 1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thess. 4:16) and Jesus returns (John 14:3; 2 Thess. 1:7-8) for Judgment. I can only help you today, not when you see me on the great Day of Judgment. The preaching of this “message of truth” (Eph. 1:17) is the only warning you will get. If you, friends, or loved ones have not yet accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is written that “now November 21, 2024 is the day of salvation”; “let him who has ears to hear, hear” (Matt. 11:15; 13:9, Rev. 2:7; etc.)! Use today wisely, knowing you may not get tomorrow (Matt. 6:34). Please do not delay in your contemplation of this matter of eternal moment. Scripture tells us that the only reason the Day of Judgment has not come already, and you are still able to read this at this time on this day, is because the Lord is (unbelievably) patient towards mankind (and me, and you) out of His abundant lovingkindness, mercy, and “slowness to anger” (2 Pet. 3:3-10; Psa. 86:15). His judgments are delayed so that more people can have time to come to repentance and turn to Him by becoming obedient to the gospel – so that you can still have time to turn to Him. But just “as in the days of Noah”  (Luke 17:25) and in the days of Sodom (Gen. 19:24; Luke 17:29), the instant will come when Time itself is up and Judgment Day has arrived. That is why it is written: “Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked me” (Heb. 3:15), and “now November 21, 2024 is ‘the day of [your] salvation.’”
